I don't know about you, but this song just speaks to me and where I have come from.....looking back on it all, HE has been there all along....I just didn't know it at the time.His word and promises are a constant comfort to me. And while I am still realitivly young in my second/final spiritual conversion, I feel life has more purpose, meaning and direction only when I am constantly "bent" for Him. There is no other place I'd rather be than at the foot of His throne knees bent and eyes focused on Him. Nothing in this world will ever take me away from my savior - all that it has to offer and as it glitters is just not gold, but smoke and mirrors, lies, hurt and pain. I have never had more peace and joy in my life like I do today, but it is only because He has reached into the pit of my life and redeemed my soul. For He has made me a new creation, just as His word promised to do; 2 Corinthians 5:17. What is even better yet is as I heartfeltly strive to honor and please Him, I FAIL from time to time - And He as gracious and loving as he is continues to nurture and gently correct me as any parent would. He loves me no matter what and at times my heart is grieved that I feel like I can't do more......after all He laid down His life, to purchase my soul back. What higher love is this? Thank you sweet Lord Jesus - the One whom my soul loves....
